I passed with flying colors cause it was so easy. BUT this was a high school proficiency test lol.

So far I've taken this stupid test for the past 3 years and right now it looks as if I'm forced to go back to minimum wage fast food if I want a part-time job. My old job (what can brown do for you?) won't take me back since I quit regardless of the reason.

I know a lot of morons in my college that get better paying jobs than I do and they clearly don't know what the hell they're dealing with.

I managed to get into the 90's for ASVAB but military service is out of the question now that I'm in school.

well im only assuming its not the same test. Even so there are quite a few people who fail this test.

The sad thing is this test doesn't actually weed out the bad employees. And yes it does vary a bit with each company but sitting there for a while figuring what they want to hear is like mind rape.

Always the Army ROTC, Navy ROTC, Navy ROTC with Marine option, and Air Force ROTC. Assuming your school has an ROTC program. If they don't, the marines have a PLC, think summer camp, marine corps style.

Yeah, I considered those but I really don't trust the government if they feel the pinch for more soldiers regardless. That's why I plan on serving once I graduate, but right now I just want a decent part-time job that is not at minimum wage and a stupid test written by a know it all psych dogs from oregon stands in my way.

I'm embarrassed being the only student who doesn't work and lives off my savings.

I wish I could have lived off my savings and go to school...But due to my lust for parties I blew through my college fund and had nothing to show. I had to join the military if you know what I mean. I now have 96 units under my belt and 20 something left.

As ussual I am burning the candle at both ends, my week started at 0300 and I rode 125 miles on the bike, then in a car for 63 and a plane ride for 75. Worked until 0030. Then hit the rack at 0200, up at 0600. Worked utill 2330 and up at 0600. That is pretty much the way this week has gone. I have a few more hours on duty then have a paper on security proceedures. Thank goodness I have tommorow off (fingers crossed) and not emergency ops will mess with my only day of since tuesday.

90 on the ASVAB is nothing to scoff at, not that you are. I got a similar score and they wanted me to go NUKE tech, I passed all but the physics part of the test, missed by 3 points. I believe there are some delayed entry programs...ie you join go to OCS and then finish your degree. Officer is the best move in my opinion. Other enlisted might disagree, but I have seen the type of jobs O-4s got out side and they pale in comparison to my current opportunities.

Sigh my motorcycle died AGAIN. But this time I think its something else because it had enough juice to start, backfire, then die but then the battery just slowly died with me trying to start it. SSSOOOO when I get to work im gonna take the battery out throw it on the charger then let it charge for 12 hours (I work 12 hours today) and see if it starts.

Hey ofblong - bad luck, I hate that stuff. I specialise in battery problems. They seem to float in my direction out of the ether.

As for me and as for today - It has been a wholly blank episode in my life and in the history of the universe. I did nothing to it and it did nothing to me.

OK, I slept and ate a bit and yawned occasionally, and posted on a couple of sites, but nothing more. Now it's time to go to bed.

Dallied around the house for a while not really doing anything, spoke to a mortgage specialist, did laundry, picked up a horn for my bike.

What kind of horn, air, regular or la cuca ratcha!
