I got my bike jack for $30 after rebate from pep boys. Thing is AWESOME and I use it in the winter to lift my bike off the floor
. Has locks to keep it from coming down so it works ALL winter long.
I don't have a garage floor to nail anything down so can I just use it on a concrete driveway? Then again I still don't trust myself changing tires but it would come in handy for engine maintenance.

oh it might rust if you leave it outside hehe. it has threaded rods on it that lift the wheels of the lift off the "ground". Not sure I would feel comfortable even leaving my motorcycle outside of the garage for more than the daylight hours.

No garage but I am blocked in by several cars if I'm not going to be riding. The tool shed can take care of the lift if bolting it is not necessary. Plus the bikes I have and will go for aren't very popular (future bike will be either Versys or V-Strom). Well, there's also the nosy neighbors that seem to be around all day...

Drove back from Vail today. My g/f and I stayed a night up there just to get away from the city, even for a single night. It was fun, but too bad I didn't ride the bike up with her behind ridin pillion. Only a two hour ride each way. I need to find some extender pegs to clear the high mount exhaust on both sides. Maybe next summer. Oh well, what a fun trip anyway.

yeah I only ever put the rods down enough to lift the wheels up off the cement of my garage.

Sorry...I took them to camera club last night....they all got eaten....you'll have to wait for the next batch.....I'm thinking orange cupcakes with sambuca icing. whaddya think?

I worked. For four "procreating" hours. That's it. I need a new job. Though I will miss giving directions to cuties who come in lost at 3 in the morning.
