Just a though but if you are drilling/sticking things to your plastics it might be worth picking up a cheapish wrecked plastic than damaging your currant perfect ones.

Verm, you give up to easily

for a testing the super velcro, you could do a test run by velcro'ing two pieces of 2X4 together and then just bungie or strap one piece over your seat so it won't move. you could also use this to change the angle to see what different side winds will do to it.

OK you opened yourself up big time

Dude. You don't need a tail mount. No one wants to see your rear - and furthermore, if you are out riding with buddies (unless they have the patience of a saint) they're not going to stay behind you long enough for you to take video of them. All that will be on the video will be "WHOOSH WHOOSH" as they fly by you.

Thats really unfair. V is a relatively new rider (<1 yr?) and yes, while his riders can take off to their own ability for a short time, they should be patient and ride to the slower riders ability. Isn't that the unspoken rule of the group ride?

no it's not. verm's unwillingness to listen to any of the advice given to him (mostly solicited i might add) makes him more than fair game. until he starts acting older than eight, he deserves all he gets

No. The unspoken rule of a group ride should be ride your own ride. That's why you set up rally points. The fast riders can get a soda and pee while they wait for the slow dude to catch up. Riding to the level of the slowest rider is the same as the dumbing down of the educational system.
