Well, the Duck is a little light on power, and the KTM is insane in just about every way. No comparison really....HYPERR wrote:Which do you like to ride more? The Katoom or the Duc?

I had a go at a late model S4Rs with the Testretta engine. It was a hoot, however it felt much like a weighted down S2R with a big punch. Much more engine than chassis, and it would not be able to hang with the Duke on a twisty road. Like everything Ducati though it sounded way better than the KTM and looks much better too. I wouldn't trade though.HYPERR wrote:Very true.High_Side wrote:Well, the Duck is a little light on power, and the KTM is insane in just about every way. The SR4 would be a more valid comparison. Have you ever ridden a SR4?
Yeah that's a very good analogy. The SR4s actually feels large compared to even the SR2-1000 which(especially with its dimunitive seat height) actually feels like a tiny bike in comparison. Yeah the SD ain't pretty but boy can it kick a$$!High_Side wrote:I had a go at a late model S4Rs with the Testretta engine. Word.HYPERR wrote: But in terms of looks, that pearl white SR4s with the red trellis has got to one of the most gorgeous nekked ever.
Will do. The days are counting down until I'm blasting off at the end of June for a solo tour. Where? I have no idea, and that's the best part.koji52 wrote:Dear High_Side,
Please go touring and take pictures. Too many letters and words, not enough riding pictures to fuel my day dreams of the road while at the office.
