Well as you guys know I rolled my truck, and I have been wanting another bike for years...
So because I live so close to work that I can walk if it snows, I went and bought myself a bike as daily transportation!
Yes I know this is CO, yes I've been called nuts before, and yes it's a bit chilly riding without heated gear and grips, but it's a bike!
Anyway because insurance is still messing with me on the payout, and they took away the rental car, I ended up having to get a loan, but they wouldn't finance anything older than 10 years.
Luckily a buddy of mine happened to be selling his 05 Z750S, and I picked that up today...
Like I said, 05, Z750S, 4K miles (broke 4100 riding it home), immaculate condition, only one tiny paint ding on the paint...

That's gonna bring a tear to the eye of Sunshine 229 as that is just like her old pride and joy when she lived in Canuckistan. Great bike. Nice colour. Congrats.

Looks like if I had been driving a 2012 Frontier, I'd still have a truck! Saw this the other day at a friend's place, and laughed my butt off, especially at the warning on the bottom of the screen!

Went down about a mile from my house last night on my way home. Hit some sand I didn't see in the dark and the front end washed out. Only going about 10 MPH.
Damages:
-Hole in pulse generator cover
-Oil drained
-Scuffed up mirror, front brake lever, turn signal lens
-Bent rear brake lever
Two people were awesome enough to stop and make sure I was ok. Pretty sure both live in my neighborhood, so I need to stop by and thank them for stopping.
Gear doesn't even look like I went down, except that my boots are scuffed clear through the leather and the steel toe now has scuffs on it.

Dang! You better get the city to clean the streets.

Heh, when our city cleans the streets, it means the street sweepers take the dirt from the gutters and redistribute it to the center of the road.
