Almost kissed pavement today, traveling home on Highway 17 doing around 140 KPH when some dip in an Accura SUV flys by me in the outside lane, hammers his brakes to avoid rear ending a tractor trailer unit and then dives into my lane mere inches from my front wheel.............had to change my undies with I got home.............

did you also have to pull them out a da bunghole? glad yer ok .

Doing 90 on 17 is begging for even more trouble.......even the big rigs fly down it at 100 to 110. If you are planning of doing 90 on 17 on a bike, you best ride on the hard shoulder, otherwise someone is going to be driving up your exhaust pipe. I commute that road everyday, believe me, 90 ain't safe on it.

Noticed he had Washington State plate, it was a Watcom Country Copper heading to patrol Point Roberts, well out of his jurisdiction.

Went to the Salmon catch festival. Then out to Shipwreck beach. Getting together with a gang of friends or a nice day out was excellent.

140 kph is 86 mph. That's definatly slow on some highways in this state. I "procreating" love those highways. There's something fun about dodging cars going on the better side of 90.

here in michigan any cop can pull you over no matter what jurisdiction they are in.

Same in MA. And due to some clause in the Patriot Act, statey's can be very loose with the whole search and seizure thing. Tell them they can search one area of the car, and they can go through all your "poo poo".

Yeah but being an American cop on Canadian soil, don't think it would wash in any court...

Everything above that yellow line is Canada, and that trooper would have to drive 40 minutes (on a good day) through Canada, to get from one location to the other...
