My club has different skill level rides. The beginner rides set a slow pace and everyone rides the same speed as the slowest rider. Then there's intermediate/advanced which are much faster.

*edit* sweet, with his new avatar we can look at that butt every time we log on

burn.
Thats really unfair. V is a relatively new rider (<1 yr?) and yes, while his riders can take off to their own ability for a short time, they should be patient and ride to the slower riders ability. Isn't that the unspoken rule of the group ride?

lol

I would love to see the faces of the fellas i ride with, if VX turned up for hoon and did some of that "seat work" he did in the mpg ;)

it makes me smile jus thinking about it :)

i'd love to go there sometime. i'd trailer my bike though. that's too far to ride on a bike that's not meant for touring.

Hey VX, what's the longest trip you've taken on your bike in one day? I'm thinking of taking one myself, but I don't want to make all the preparations and find out I can only bear 100mi per day.

so far, only probably close to 250 miles in 1 day. not non-stop though.

non-stop, longest i've done is around 100 miles.

im aiming to endure at least 200 miles non-stop in the future.

Verm you never cease to amaze me - the points I would elaborate on have already been made by the usual suspects so I will again stress that a basic understanding of the physics of motorcycling would do much to assist you. Of course, be safe - and try not to ride that shiny gixxer off a cliff.

Also - I've seen many a person ride the very same bike as you thousands of miles in a few days - usually 500-600 in a day. I've done it myself on my SVS - triples dropped and all. Just grip the tank with your knees and change your positioning every 5-10min, you'll be fine.

To all considering a AL/GA/TN/NC type ride - I can dig it.
