yeah its a great theory...unloading a 30 shot clip at the range...but most ranges only alow 3-5 rounds in your auto rifle...and usually prefer you dont set it to auto...now private ranges are another story :wink:

i was looking at full auto conversions for pistols(as they are legal in my area now). a full auto pistol with a 20-40round clip seems crazy, but would you be able to actually hit anything with that? seems like after the first shot youd be shooting into the air missing anything that mattered. it would be cool at the range to let it open with a full auto(if theyd even allow it) but for actual use i dont see it working out.


I saw a video clip of a guy using two full automatic glocks. They empty in like 2 seconds even with the higher capacity magazines. He actually controlled them quite well, but then again his wrists were the size of tree trunks. According to the History Channel they're used in the military for undercover people. So the soldier has a buttload of short range firepower that can be concealed easily.
