You guys didn't happen to end up at the Gathering of Nortons up at Washington Crossing, did you? There was a small party of scooters that dropped in...

Oy, poor Mr Ducati  He sounds so thrilled with the name and being part of the group that he's squishing out any motorcycle-related skills.

ARGH!

Got a hole in my rear tire after only two months and 1.5k miles of wear.

Good thing I got that road side assistance and tire protection plan last week.

I'm sure they will be happy with me submitting a claim on the first day my policy went active...

Ah well. New rear tire goes on tomorrow.

BTW, for anyone wanting some cheap roadside assistance, tire protection for any bike, check out this:

http://www.theautoclub.com/motorcycle/index.jsp

I got the highest coverage for everything and its only $11 a month. Its about to save me $160 for my toasted rear tire...

so I leave in week for my trip!
We've decided Halifax is just going to be too cold and rainy this time of year, so instead we've decided to go, well, everywhere else.

Here is the plan, first i ride up to Boston from Philly on Friday. Then from Boston, we'll basically go counterclockwise around this loop:

i just threw the map together so it isnt exact, and could change at any time, but in this loop we should see a lot of cool things.

I'm starting to get excited!

i'm home, after a 700 mile day yesterday from Bar Harbor Maine to my house west of Philadelphia. About 50 miles from home last night the sky suddenly turned black and i got soaked, then hailed on. Didnt have my rain gear on so that was fun.

Anyhow, we didnt exactly do the original loop I have posted about, but I did manage to do 2300 miles and we saw a lot of cool places in New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachuchetts, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

More pics and video to come later when I'm done resting :)

Time to get to updating this a bit.

So, we didnt do exactly as planned for this trip. No nova scotia, no giant loop on the east coast. We did something like this instead:

More info and about 90 pics to come..
