I got a couple on our ride yesterday on the way out to Oirase Gorge. I had this thread in mind. These are at the same place, just different angles.

Thanks High Side :)

The bike pictured is DHs Vulcan, the VTR in the ava is mine. Since my deathwish isn't that strong, I don't ride my bike out on the roads yet  But, as I was just telling jstark, morbid curiosity is pushing us to take my 250 out, two up and see just exactly how it does with just over 300lbs

I'll be riding the rides on my bike though, sooner or later...more than likely later, but I will 8)

The weather we had for the ride was just beautiful. We couldn't believe it was so gorgeous all day long. Since we transitioned to the rainy fall season these kind of days aren't common.

lol That is in the valley just leaving the last big town heading to the gorge, mountains and lake. It is surprising, definitely not the kind of scenery that comes to mind when you think of Japan huh?

The cities are very dense, and everything you think they'd be as far as busy, crowded and bustling. But the mountains, farms and countryside are really nice. Very lush vegetation and produce.

I have a few Quicktime clips from my digicam from that ride, if anyone can help ,e out on how to get them posted, you'll see how pleasant the ride is 8)

Here's the bike after I bought it and gave it it's first bath...

This is a more recent pic, prior to me blasting off for a 2193.1 mile round trip to Utah and back.

And finally... here it is after I got to Utah. Can you tell I rode through some farm land?
