If I remember you are using Internet Explorer. You want to clear your AutoComplete Data. I think it is Tools->Options->Content tab then the AutoComplete button. Should be options to either leave it on or turn it off and to clear out its cache.

Is it possible to have a song emailed to me so I don't have to go buy a whole CD?

I would like to use "You are so Beautiful" by Joe Cocker in one of my photo shows of my nephew for my sister.

That's usually considered copyright infringement. What you can do is either buy the CD (preferably used) or see if one of the online music stores (iTunes, for example) has it in a DRM-free file. Then you can do that legally.

You could also see if it falls under fair use and then grab a copy of the song by, say, yanking the audio from a youtube video of the song.

When a web site or web application wants a "never expires" expiration date for the cookie, the best they can do is a certain number of years in the future. 50 years in the future is about as close to "never expires" as you can get.

I seem to remember that in some programming languages, year 0 is 1970 (from back when every byte had to be preserved as no-one had much) so they just slap in 100 years and bingo you get 2069 (I think Visual Basic is one of those...)

In truth its down to either lazy programming, or a necessity due to an underspecified server, rather than work out todays date and add 1 year, they just use a fixed one

Sure can but that is an awful large attachment. You'll probably want to have it zipped(compressed). Or just borrow the CD and rip it off there. Or just download a bittorrent client and download it. Thats what I do.

MP3s are already compressed and usually end up *larger* when you try to zip them.

A typical MP3 is 4-6MB, which really isn't that large of an attachment these days. Most mail servers will put those through no problem.

It's still illegal, but it's not hard to find an MP3 online via BT or something else.
