I really don't think this is the thread to be teasing him in. I for one would be absolutely devastated if someone stole my bike. And I'll bet there isn't a single person here who would be brought close to tears by the same thing occuring.

Lets cut V a little slack, and try to keep this upbeat.

Have you gone bike shopping yet Verm? Looking at new bikes would probably cheer you up a little.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

No, why would it be?

All it means is that verm knows he's not ready for a Busa.

He caved into getting a Gixxer 1000 because of the looks. I would think that, even if he considered the busa, he'd step back and go 'mm maybe not'.

Sorry to hear about the bike Verm, makes me kinda glad my bikes such apiece of cr@p that no one would WANT to steal it. *L

As for your replacement bike, the pics of the 1000 and the 600, IMHO the 600 is way sexier lookin. you'll be buzzing those canyons roads in no time, and laughing at puny guardrails *L

i just realized that they have access to our house now...

the registration to the bike is there as well as the gate remotes to the condo compound and the garage.

F&*(^!!!

i better change our garage code if that will even help.

any other ideas?
Got a baseball bat?

Police officer: "Mr X, can you identify the person that was inside your apartment?"

Verm: "Why, yes sir. It's the one with Louisville Slugger tattoed on his forehead."

In your jacket pocket. You should always have your jacket with you anyways.

...it has your address...

.....if you've also got keys (e.g. garage openers and the like) on the bike they know where to go to get some more nice stuff.....

In L.A.? I'd probably be riding around without a shirt on, much less wearing a jacket.
