WOW-ZERS! In the winter in Calgary it can go from -40°C to +5°C in one day from the warm chinook winds coming off the western Rocky Mountains. It's quite an experience but nothing compared to what you're talking about where the temperature changes that much in one day!

I was in London, KY, on Saturday... it was 15C, people were walking around in t-shirts and I saw several bikes out on the road. I come home last night and it's -17C. Bit of a shock to the old body, that was.

It's -27 outside this morning and is predicted to hit -33 in a couple of hours! Last week the street was nearly melted to my driveway before we got nailed with 40 cm of snow. The silver lining? I booked a trip to Varadero on Sat. night for mid-February! When I get back it will be a matter of weeks until I'm riding

Tomorrow's high here is a balmy 0 F. The low should be around -22 F And we're supposed to get around 5-6 inches of snow... WOOHOO! WINTER FINALLY ARRIVED!
