I keep mine in my wallet, my wallet lives in my front right pocket. Only comes out to pay for stuff and goes straight back in.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

i was gonna get a busa but then i saw it in person. i changed my mind after that.

then i was looking at an SV1000, then somebody beat me to it, which im glad he did since i ended up w/ the gixxer1000.

anyway... i will get the 2006 gixxer600 for my next bike, then spend the extra money on personalizing it and installing lojack on it.

but then again, like i said, it still depends on availability since i will get the 1st bike i can get as soon as i can be it either the 600 or 1000. if both are available in red/black... my priority goes to the 600.

Im glad to hear you say you want a 600, Im sure you wont be disappointed.

Anyway, dont wait to start looking for a bike, start now. You need to figure out what Suzuki dealers are within 30 miles of you and start negotiating now. Dont put yourself in a situation where you are making a quick decision. Dealers eat up people who are desperate to buy a bike.

Also, if you got an extended service contract with your previous bike you can likely still cash it in, since you no longer own the bike.

In L.A.? I'd probably be riding around without a shirt on, much less wearing a jacket.

i know what ya mean. . . too damn hot here. i have a mesh, textile thing jacket and even that is too damn hot, wish i was skilled enough to not worry so much, but with only like 6 months of riding i dont think non full gear is the best for me. . which is a shame cause summer is comming, heat. .. "poo poo"

i'll leave bike shopping later since my mechanic said he can hook me w/ a good deal since he know people at dealerships.

i'll look into cashing the extended warranty if it is possible.

anyway... yeah the priority will go the 600, but i'll still put a TRE on it though. :D

which makes me sad again... i never got to test the TRE on my 1000.

Thats the mistake I made, dont make it yourself. The only way you are going to get a good deal is if you do the research and haggle. I knew someone at a dealership and they were going to "hook me up". I ended up getting a mediocre deal. If you put it in anothers hands, you will most likely be screwed. Just a warning...

I would think it is almost certain you can get your pro-rated money back on the service contract. Dont mention any aftermarket things you did to the bike, including the TRE. They might try and find any excuse to void your contract.

I was thinking about taking my TRE out. I hate not being able to turn my bike on with the kickstand down and no having the neutral light.
