The silver lining? I booked a trip to Varadero on Sat. night for mid-February! When I get back it will be a matter of weeks until I'm riding :)
FANTASTIC! What a great idea, get out of the cold and onto one of the best beaches... 8)
And it ended up hitting -37(!) this morning as verified by the dash in the F150. Enuff of this freezin my azz off weather :shooting:

I have to say I feel sorry for those folks getting slammed with yet another snow storm. If only it could all be shipped to ease a drought somewhere.

Ah yes, I'll be feeling very, very sorry for them too as I gear up and head out for a ride in a few moments...

Go ahead and duck behind that stone wall   There will be many snowballs coming your way shortly!

I'll do my best to get over it for a while by hitting the slopes on Friday :kicking:

Got out for about three hours and a lunch break... Not as nice as the day before but still a dry cool ride...

Hey, last night I stood outside watching the thunder and lightning. The highveld storms are beautiful.

The something weird happened, this wet stuff came down, the dogs howled and hid under the kitchen table, the community watch radio's went berserk, people panicked and locked the doors and windows and shut the kids in the bedrooms. Everyone is talking about it this morning. People took time of work and went to church, the Sangoma's are throwing bones left right and centre. Perhaps the end of the world thing is true.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Sapaul we had wet stuff come down too last night. Except it was frozen and stayed once it hit the ground. Makes it awful slick when you try to do a wheelie I'll tell you that much.
