battery fully charged, starter wont turn. starter solenoid clicks. -8F is just to cold to worry about working on it lol.
so next on your list is a heated garage with a fume vent? Sucks when stuff like that happens. The Mazda had battery problems a couple of days ago when the temps were below freezing.
yes sir. No seriously house comes first then garage . But by time I would get to that point it will be time to build a new house with a heated pole barn .
finally found out when my grandfathers funeral is. Friggen my dad, 2 uncles, and my aunt were fighting with the one uncle on where to have the funeral and they are still bickering about who gets what since my other uncle decided to sell everything in the house without anyone knowing till it was too late.

Didn't your grandfather take care of those details before he passed? If the one uncle (the estate's executor?) sold everything there should be probate costs and the remainder split evenly among his children.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
Always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

yes he did but by time he realized my grandmas mistake in letting my uncle be the executer of the will he was to far gone to be able to change anything. however my uncle sold it all to deal drugs and take them. He actually quit his job to do it.

Bitchin in Hitchin
The weather was nice
but he stayed inside
now he is moaning
and oh how he sighed
I'm a lazy sot
because my blood is cold
but soon yes soon
the misery grows old
One of these days
and soon I am sure
the sun will be back
your mood swings to cure
Until such time
remember we're here
to keep you amused
for the rest of the year.
So I have a problem in my bedroom in which I have been sleeping in the living room for months. I have no idea how to tackle this so any suggestions?
It was mostly water damage and I think some mold has set in. I just need to find a way to cover up the wall or even better fix it myself. The leaky roof has been repaired though.
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.
If you have mold in there, you need to cut out the damaged gyprock. Mold will continue to grow and it could make you sick. Also...if the gyprock has been wet for awhile, it will probably be soft.
You could probably use a jigsaw to cut out the affected gyprock and then replace it with new gyprock. It would be best to nail it to a part of frame or wood slats. Then comes the mud and tape.
If you don't want to do all that work, then you need to bleach the areas that have mold.
As for the wood...you could bleach it if it is moldy. Then when you know it is really dry, sand it so it is nice and smooth. When you know you have no more mold, you can re gyprock it.
Also...if you are renting.....your landlord should be paying for this.
remove it all and put drywall up. also make sure there is insulation behind that lathe and plaster. if not remove it all, put insulation in, and then put drywall up . IMO its eaiser to just rip it all out and start over (maybe even add some electrical outlets that never existed) than to patch it.
thanks for the suggestions. I'll see what I can do. This is a family owned house so instead of bothering my folks I'll take care of stuff in my apartment.
I had started chipping away at the bad part of the wall but the window sill came down and behind the wood is a nice brick wall. So if I just want to cover it up what should be done?
