So Sev, if I can wrangle a trip up to your neck of the woods, think we could get some kind of ride together?

Undoubtably, but we'd have to plan a trip to somewhere further away. All the roads are straight and boring up here. Gotta head West to the Mountains.

Rapid, we will find a time to hook up. I've got some family in Lloyd, so I'll be heading out that way sometime this summer, and depending upon how long I have off, I could be persuaded to go further East.

I love seeing bikes all lined up like that. Particularly when they are all different types. Nothing quite like bridging the "gap" between sport-bike riders and cruiser riders.
Haha, it was really funny when I was leading the first leg of the group ride. For whatever reason all the sportbikes were on one side, and all the cruisers were on the other. I'd look back and right behind me see Chok447, and Karatechick, then to the side was Malice, Therap, and Bubbagump. I wonder if anyone else realised we were doing that.

But yeah, I'll rie with anyone who doesn't make me feel like they're going to get me killed. And I'll probably ride with those guys too.

Open invite to any board members for the next ride. Date to be announced.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Well since I have zero time and even less abition to clean and sync 4 carbs myself, I will be taking it in sometime this week, if I can figure out how to move a non running bike 10kms without a trailer. :D

PS keep up the good work on the blog, it's a fun read

Rapid - hope it all works out with your bike!

Yup - that was interesting...and since I was 3rd in the sport line and 5th overall, it was neat to see all the sports lean the same way in the turns and then the cruisers lean too. 8)

I have to admit - it was my first time group riding and I had a blast! Definitely a lot more fun than riding solo. The only downer was that Karate Chick kept threatening to "lay the smack down" if we gave her any lip. Just teasin.

I think we should do a group ride to Sylvan some weekend and meet the Calgary folks there. The ride is a bit boring, but it would be nice to have a get together. Lots of lakeside patios and great food too!

Thanks again guys!

PS - I know you missed my Erik avatar.
Those of you who think you're cool annoy those of us who really are! 8)

Laugh all you want. She only las the smack down once, then you learn your lesson. At least I did.
