Ultima is saying June now, Im given up on them, watching a Mustang on e-bay
Oh you bet. It's a way better then it was before. I tried a run up to Port Hardy n back and no problemo. Cost me a mere $60 so can't really complain. Should be good to go for our Wetaskiwin trip in a week or so.
I also added a sheepskin cover to help ward off monkey-butt on the longer rides in hot weather (if we ever get any of that hot weather.) Bought a sheephide covered pillow for $35 rather then the entire hide for $100. Just about the perfect size.
I booked the day and he was as good as his word on getting it done in time.

Guess this was directed at me.

Not been paying enough attention to TMF lately I suppose. He's down at the end of David street not far from Budget steel. Can't remember the address. I guess you can always look up "Top Stitch" and find it.
Haven't seen much of you around town of late but then again I don't make all that many rides any more. The thursday night switch really sucks. I might make it tomorrow (saturday) to ride up island with Alaska Dave.

I'm going to ride the Duffy Lake Road on the weekend. So far there are about ten of us going.
No milk crate this time. It makes people weird.
I got a sissy bar and luggage rack set up and I can slip my backpack over the sissy bar and have it rest on the rack. In case of rain, I can pull a garbage bag over the top.
Have you ridden the Duffy, old-n-slow?

OMG, I'm in Vancouver! I should basically have free time Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon (22-24). If you're looking for a challenge give me a shout Blues

Seriously though, it'd be neat to at least meet up with you and DR_Bar + anyone else from the Vancouver area whether for a ride, a pint, or a coffee.
I'll be dropping some new PM's shortly, but if I miss anyone, drop me a line. I'm going to need a LOT of help finding my way around the city though! Haha

Hey Blues.
I did the Fraser Canyon just a month or so back. Gotta love that road. I can't imagine why people go straight up over via the Coquihalla when there is that terrific route around and not all that much longer either. Ain't it funny how we ride for the enjoyment but then do our best to take the shortest quickest route (well some do anyway). Never could understand that.
As for the Duffy Lake road, Ya got me there, I don’t even know where it is but it sounds good. I’d like to say I’ll be over there some time looking for a ride and a good riding companion or two but it ain’t likely to happen as I avoid Vancouver and area like everyone had the plaque over there and have no urge to travel around it all that much. Ask my son, when I stop at his place (False Creek Area) I’m gone at 4:00 am to avoid the traffic.
I have been looking at a BMW that a dealer has over there but now that I’ve managed to put it off long enough I probably will pass it up. One big reason for that is having to drive through Vancouver to get to the dealers. I’m just a Hill Billy at heart. Heck I hardly even go downtown Victoria.
So what's the next challenge? Anything come to mind?
