The reporter may not have even heard the speculation about the cager's fault.. and even if they had, the reporter may be reluctant to publish such potentially damaging information based purely on speculation or rumor.
What I'm trying to say is that you weren't there and don't know who is at fault. Maybe the reporter heard conflicting stories that you didn't hear. Maybe he's waiting to hear some confirmation.

the report seemed biased... it didn't even mention a car. the report makes it seem like an accident only bikes.
is it hard to get a statement from the cops that investigated the scene? maybe cops doesn't like reporters?
the rider that posted that info was able to speak to the cops.
we were able to speak to the clean up crew. we got the info that it was a car and 2 bikes.

i realized that im getting too affected by some people here. i mean i got to thinking... "why the hell do i have to prove myself around here?" it's my fault really for getting affected too much.
but no more.
so noticed i posted this on my blog... im not looking to gain you or anybody else's approval. if you don't believe what i posted then that's ok... i don't have to prove anything to you.
PS. i did notice that you posted wink emoticon so forget about this if you're not serious.

So no footage then?

I was hoping someone had some video footage, not stills, of the "certified canyon carver" in action.

hehe...
well i don't plan of getting one... if it happens, it happens... but im not gonna go out of my way to get a video footage of me canyon carving.
like i said, im through trying to prove myself. there's no point, i know what i can do and can't do, whether anybody believes it or not is up to them.
what matters to me is the comments i get from the people i actually ride with.

went canyon riding around ACH.
there were 8 of us. the ride was fun and i did good. we did our own pace. i wasn't fast enough to hang w/ the 1st 3 riders in front of me but it's ok. i wasn't that far beyond either.
here's some pics...
ride was not perfect again... they're not from our group but 2 riders crashed on separate occasions.
one rider got airlifted, the other was ambulanced. very sad indeed.

damn! i thought i counted 8.
ok... there were 9 of us.
i forgot... there was another rider but he split after the 1st rest stop. so there was actually 10 of us in the beginning.
EDIT: another correction... the 1st 4 riders where the ones that are too fast for me. now that look again at our lineup.
they're pretty good... it's fun to see them lean into the corners consecutively, like it was choreographed, since the gap they have is small.
