I did some public speaking. I did some of the theory class.
I went to a kid's birthday party.
I put the summer duvet on the bed.

I went for a ride...but then discovered a nail in the back tire.
So I came home and parked the bike and then went outside to blow bubbles with the 2 year old next door.
Sigh....I'll be using transit for the next while now......

When for a ride and to hunt for a pair of braces aka suspenders. Seem's I've lost a fair amount of weight in the past year and the belt I use to hold up my leather over pant isn't doing the job anymore. Found a set at Marks Work Warehouse and now my pants don't drop down to my ankles anymore. Can very embarrassing while grocery shopping.

Slept til 3 PM after my first week at my new job. Service manager says I'm doing really well for my first week, and I'm feeling pretty good about this job. Also talked to three people I haven't seen for a while, so that was a good time, including one buddy from Phoenix who just got home with his kid and missus.

Embarrassing?
Dam, that was my best pick-up technique...... does explain my dismal success rate though..... and why I'm banned from Safeway.

drove the 197 miles from my grandmother's house to mine, found out while trying to purchase $106 in diesel that the bank decided to turn off my debit/credit card, and unloaded the Madura 1200 from the truck...and promptly ordered a new rear turn signal bracket.
stupid plastic.
and the 197 miles was only made longer by the fact that every time i looked in the rear view i saw the 1200 looking back at me. did get to take it around the block a couple times though, and i like it a lot. pictures once the bracket's back in place and i have plates and registration for it.

Very cool, so I take it the guy wasn't lying and it runs great? All the tires/hoses and such in good condition?
