As far as chain adjustment, do it when it needs it, not at a specified mileage. If you have to adjust your chain everytime you ride the bike, you need a new chain and sprockets.

$140 for a tire stand?!?!?!VermilionX wrote:nope, i sorta gave up on the idea that i can fully mask it.Sevulturus wrote:Have you considered picking up some nail polish or something to fill in the white marks where you made the join? Glad to see the bike is back in one piece.
anyway, im very satisfied already w/ its current condition. it doesn't bother me anymore.
and also, i bought my self a chain lube and a tire gauge.
and im still thinking over if whether i should buy a pit bull rear stand or these... Front and Rear stand
the pit bull rear stand is $140.
after that, i could lube my chain a lot easier.
yes. it goes underneath the motor. I put the XR on it, jacked it up about a foot, strapped it down, hopped on the bike, kicked it over, and started slamming through the gears just to be an idiot when my dad came in the barn. LOL.GeoffXR200R wrote:EDIT: LOL it just dawned on me that you'd have to take off the belly pan on your bike to use it. And the exhaust. You know what? never mind i said anything about a jack. But check sears, they may have cheaper wheel stands.
