I don't know if it's true or not, just really hard to believe. I've felt the wind hit me at 186 and just can't see how a man can stay attached to the bike at 300 mph, It has to be next to impossible. Even at under 200, tucked behind the windscreen, with the wind resistance on your helmet it's about all you can do to keep your chin pressed to the tank.
Go find a strait road somewhere (once you have a little more time riding) and see what I'm talking about. You'll have doubts too.
If it's a dyno run at 300, that doesn't count because it doesn't factor in wind resistance.
