Soo... I'm going to go the cheap way first(keep stock boards, move 'em forward) Then maybe later, spring for the expensive forward controls... I was looking online for a decent kit, and found one that will move them forward 4.5 inches, and tilts them back a bit. and for only $90CAN. But I hate ordering stuff online, so I am a little hesitant because of the wait/duty/shipping/etc. (been screwed over in the past) then, I look at the location and this custom bike shop that the webpage belongs to is right near my house! :D

Don't laugh too loud everyone...I had that sweet bicycle til I was a teenager. Then I had to get rid of it cuz I was getting beat up too often for looking..."unique".

One more note about procrastinating.

A wise friend said it best to me once.

Brad B said, "Its always best to put something off til the last minute, cause then it only takes a minute."

Honda did seem to like putting buckhorn bars on just about anything back then.

No problems with hitting knees on my bike, but its not a cruiser either.

Only heard 3 comfort related issues common to the CX500s. Tall riders hit their knees on the cylinder heads, the buckhorn bars are too narrow and cramp up your throttle hand (I can attest to this one), and you cant put highway pegs on them because of the cylinder heads.

So, I rotated my handlebars forward a few degrees, and it clears my knees in full turn now. cool. And it's visually indistinguishable.

still going to put on the foot control extentions when I get some time. (working weekends)

cheers,
