I remember reading about a base-ball cap that movie stars were wearing that had a camera flash in it. Whenever it sensed a flash of bright light it simultaniously flashed itself spoiling the paparrazi's picture. Why couldn't this technology work for speed cameras??????

flashers

What a great idea - although you'd need a heck of a flash, probably. Maybe a more passive spin on the same thing would be a lens that turns dark when exposed to light, just like the coating you can get on your glasses lenses, but at a much faster rate.

It does, but at night, you've got to wonder about the driver following you, who gets a flash gun go off, pointing at 'em

You can wonder all you want, but you wouldn't have to worry about him. He'll be in weeds behind you... not that's that's a bad thing.....

You could save money and just slow down when you see a cop/ camera. Or do like I do and just hope you don't encounter one. I'd like to say it's worked for me so far, but I won't for fear of jinxing myself and getting a ticket in the next few days.
