I worked as an ATC in the military and for a short time in the private sector (non-fed) and yes indeed, flying is fun. If you're chuck yeager, I'll be your groupie. :laughing:

did you hear about him steering a small plane off the taxiway into a ditch? Cause I did, thought it was pretty funny.

Not taxied. But I have ended up in the grass landing a high performance taildragger (which is what Chuck actually did). It's not uncommon in that type of plane. If you fly taildraggers long enough, it'll probably happen to you.
