Sharp -thanks for the link to that article -it definitely helps! There was also some links in there for windshields -I didn't find one that fit my motorcycle specifically -but there were plenty that were large enough that I can cut down to size!

Thanks again!

Hey Henri, The rear suspension on my '93 Seca II is adjustable. I don't know if it is the same on the '92, but my intuitions would say yes. If you look just ahead of the rear tire, there should be a black cylindrical mechanism on the suspension. I think you have to turn this and it will raise/lower your bike. If you get a repair manual, I'm sure it will have more indepth instructions on how to do it. This will definately help with your seat height problem.

Sweet!
When I bought this bike it came with a haynes manual, and for the life of me I can not find the damn thing. It is somewhere in the house, but no idea where. I was told that the Clymer was better anyway, Amazon.com here I come.

Funny you say that. I just bought a Clymer for mine this morning. I went to google and searched for the cheapest one online and this site is by far the cheapest:

11 bucks under regular list price!

I bought a Clymer manual for my Rebel for 5 bucks, used on Amazon. I love the internet.

One of these days I am going to take a fresh picture of my bike to post. I re-painted the upper fairing red again, and it looks pretty good. I also put the Corbin seat back on and am going to give it a fair shake this time. When I first got the seat I put it on and rode 150 miles, which I had never done before. I was exhausted aftet the ride, and very grumpy. I am riding it around town and it is working out for me so far.

I am thinking about painting mine. What do you use to paint it? Do you sand it down and primer it, then paint?

I did some damage repair with JB Weld, sanded and then painted with spray paint. I used paint designed for plastic, but I am not sure that really matters if you use primer.
There are a coupleof really great threads in this section about painting.

Primer is nice, just to help clean up any imperfections you may have.
