Well, that's one of your original choices, so i was trying to toss up some info on it. The 2001 and older rangers will be cheaper than the 02+, as that's when the body style changed to the new/big one.VermilionX wrote:ok, i will also try to look into 97 rangers then.GeoffXR200R wrote:The 97 ranger. Oh yeah, it's only ~3,200 pounds, so not too heavy.

Just a word pf advice. If it's old, it's bound to have problems with it now, or get them sooner than a newer vehicl. If it's worth getting the MR2, and paying the upkeep, go for it! But if you have just enough to get the car and the basic stuff (tires, filters, etc) than think long and hard about it.VermilionX wrote:ok stay away from RX-7s.
that's ok, i like MR2s a lot better anyway and i've seen 3 MR2s under $3000.
i'll check some of it and test drive them this sunday.

anyway... yeah, i hope whatever car i get, i hope it doesn't give me constant problems.
i don't mind replacing old parts but i just hope i don't get the same problems over and over again.
seeing as i'll get lojack and a chain for the next bike... i'll only be using the car as backup.
although, if the girl im talking about on the other topic becomes my GF... then i'll be using the car a little more.
