I can understand not liking cops that give tickets, but someone has to enforce the law, and that is truly sad that you are glad the guy died. Maybe when you die in an accident everyone will jump for joy that there is one less idiot in the world.

Up until this post, I had only suspected you were a total moron. Now you have removed all doubt.

I don't think very highly of that...
You guys are slow, I figured it out weeks ago.

not to pile on, but to pile on. I am inclined to believe you are an idiot for defending a dude who ran from the cops and was putting peoples life at risk with how fast he was going. That trooper was doing his job and trying to get a moron off the roads, so long a-hole.

I'm not claiming to be a higher power, if you'd like I can look up the post where he showed himself as he really is. I'm not claiming to be perfect, but this guy needs some help.

Try dealing with the pigs around here then we'll see how you feel.
They pull people over for insignificant "crumb"... and ticket people for JAYWALKING.
100 MPH in a populated area, I think thats a bit more then just speeding a bit or jaywalking. Even if you've had bad expiriences with cops Ifly, thats no excuse for that 1st comment.

My son is a police officer and I like the fact that they pull folks over for things such a damaged lights, broken windshields, failure to signal, children unbuckled. Many of the people that consistantly have these issues and are pulled over by an observant officer are the same ones that have been smoking crack all day, have no license, are drunk out of their mind, or high from some other drug. I would think that motorcyclists would like that fact that these people are taken off the road.

How many of you guys get pulled over frequently, probably not many, unless you near my above description?

The biker doing 100mph through a populated area should be in jail.

The wannabe-biker that is happy to see a cop - the same people who make sure someone doesn't STEAL HIS BIKE! - should be taken out behind the police station and beaten with a garden hose.

Both of them make bikers in general look horrible, and are collecitvely providing ammo to anyone who wants to ban bikes. Well done, well done. Now we all look like speeders and cop killers.

This isn't normally my section to moderate, but I'm locking this thread down before things get out of hand.

It is apparent what all of you think of I Fly and his comments, so there is no reason to keep this thread open for you all to post to the world on it.

Anyone wishing to say anything more on this topic to I Fly can do it via Private Message.

I am going to chime in with my own comment to I Fly though, and that is this:

You really need to seriously think about what you are saying and what affect it is going to have before you hit the 'Submit' button. You may have an issue with some of your local Law Enforcement Officers, but they are there to help keep the peace and protect the law abiding citizens (who pay their salaries through taxes) from those individuals who have no respect for the law.

Would you still be happy if the traffic officers decided not to stop and ticket speeders if one of those speeders slammed into the back of your bike?

Would you still be happy if the traffic officer who was killed had decided to end the pursuit and the rider went on to slam into a mother and child crossing the street, killing them instead?

Next time you are robbed, or involved in a hit and run, think about the fact that the Police are there to help you, regardless of what you think of them.

My condolences to the officer's family, friends and co-workers.
