Some things are just plain accidents or weird occurences but most of the accidents I hear about are unfortunatly motorcyclist doing something illegal or showing off. One guy (also 24 years old) died here in Pikeville KY, about 2 weeks ago:

G tried to go around F while there was a red light, as he was doing this the coke truck from what I understand had a green light and was turning in right, passing the fedex truck, unfortuantly Groves had try to pass the fedex truck and was possibly going to run the redlight, and was crushed between teh coke truck turning in and the fedex truck.

Harley-Davidson motorcycle disregards a stop sign
Midland Daily News (subscription), MI - On Friday night about 7 p.m., the driver of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle disregarded a stop sign at East Baker and North Sturgeon roads in Mills Township and collided with a Chevrolet Trail Blazer, reports the Midland County Sheriff's Office.
The driver and passenger on the motorcycle, Robin Gene Broemer, 44, Mills Township, and Jeanette Edith Urch, 42, Beaverton, were critically injured when they were thrown from the vehicle. Urch later died.
The driver and passenger in the Chevy, Michael Stephen Starch, 48, and Cathryn Marie Starch, 50, both of Larkin Township, were treated at the MidMichigan Medical Center and released.
Morton man dies in motorcycle crash
Peoria Journal Star, IL - MACKINAW - A Morton man died Saturday in a motorcycle accident about a mile north of Mackinaw, authorities said.
James E. Billings, 30, was pronounced dead at 4:49 p.m. at the accident scene on the Dee-Mack blacktop, said Tazewell County Coroner Dennis Conover. Billings was driving south on a motorcycle when he passed a car at a high rate of speed and clipped a northbound dump truck.
Billings, who was not wearing a helmet, died instantly
Carbondale resident injured in motorcycle wreck; two others hurt in separate crash
Aspen Times, CO - A Carbondale man broke several bones and suffered a concussion after losing control of his motorcycle on Castle Creek Road on Saturday.
Steven A. Menscher, 42, was driving too fast for conditions, according to the state patrol. He was wearing a helmet.
Motorcycle Crash Victims Downgraded, In Serious Condition
WFIE-TV, IN - UPDATE, SAT 10PM: Two Boonville residents have been downgraded to serious condition Saturday evening after a motorcycle accident Friday.
The Warrick County Sheriff's office says 48-year-old Stafford Schmidt lost control of his motorcycle on Libbertt Road near Shadow Ridge Drive around 9 p.m.
Officials say he and a passenger went off of the road and crashed.
Schmidt and the passenger, 37-year-old Danielle Boda, are in serious condition at St. Mary's hospital.
According to the Warrick County Sheriff's office, alcohol was a factor in a motorcycle crash that leaves two people critically injured.
Collision kills motorcyclist
Victorville Daily Press, CA - VICTORVILLE — A motorcyclist was killed Friday when he failed to stop at a stop sign and ran into the side of an SUV, investigators said.
Eric Simon, 22, of Victorville was ejected from his 1999 Suzuki GSXR1300 motorcycle around 8:22 p.m. near the intersection of El Evado and Seneca roads, Deputy Darrin VonHelf from the Victorville sheriff's station said. Simon was pronounced dead at the location at 8:44 p.m., a statement from the San Bernardino County Coroner's Office said.
Leg Injury Kills DE Motorcyclist
WPVI, PA - CHESWOLD, DE-September 25, 2005 - State police say speed was a factor in a fatal motorcycle crash early Saturday morning.
Police say 29-year-old Michael Thompson of Dover was riding his motorcycle northbound on Route 13 at Rose Bowl Lane in Cheswold around 12:25 Saturday morning when he veered off the road and hit a yield sign.
Thompson was airlifted to Christiana Hospital, where he died from a severe leg injury and massive blood loss.
Motorcyclist killed in crash
Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, CA - MIRA LOMA - A 51-year-old man died Thursday evening after he lost control of his motorcycle.
Basil Martin Doyle of Riverside was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle while traveling south on Mission Boulevard at 9:51 p.m. Thursday.
Doyle was ejected from his motorcycle while traveling at a high rate of speed, according to a statement from the Riverside County Coroner's Department.
Cage drivers are so dangerous!!
Lets face it though - there's no difference b/w bad drivers and bad riders. Just this morning a guy on fireblade tried passing me on a double solid as i was about to make a left hand turn....he woulda died at highway speed. Stoopidazz.
