Congrats. I'm interested in knowing some more details on that bike after you've driven it around a few hundred miles. Its one of the bikes I'm considering upgrading to.

BTW, the price you mentioned $6,800 does that include sales tax, plates, title, etc. The sticker price is $6,300 I think.

Oh yea what color did you get ?

Black. And yes, $6,800 out the door. 180 miles on it, second day owning it... heh. Stops well, handles lke a charm (my chicken strips are at 1" - 1.5" :devil2:) kinda shaky at 120mph at night on the highway... *cough*. Last time i do that methinks. That helmet is loud as all "fudge" at 50+ mph so i got some earplugs, fit nicley under the seat. Too bad that's about all that can fit there without risk of falling out. Though my wallet and cell phone go there when i'm at work. She's getting ~40 mpg, though i think with a steadier hand (getting better) and it breaking in, that'll get better. It's definatly beginner friendly, but still fast enough to get you into some deep "poo poo" in a flash.

EDIT:

PS - it is VERY confidance inspiring. It hugs the road and soaks up the bumps with easy. Deals with them better than the truck by far.

Yes!!! Black is a good choice for that bike and normally I'm against black as a color for bikes.

Please report back with your experiences on DIY maintenance sometime too.

FWIW, I have a HJC CL-SP helmet and its loud as hell above 50 mph.

Some Dude wrote:Dude this is hot, did you paint the frame that color?
Nope, it came like that from the factory.

I admit, i'm an attention ho. I love it
