I used xbox-scene.com for instructions. To do the basic stuff, you have to buy a modchip, a hard drive (preferably at least 60g), a soddering iron, a 10 torx and a 15 torx. You need back up the microsoft dashboard, sodder in the chip, put in the hard drive, flash a bios on the chip, ftp a dashboard (evolutionX is what I use, same for the bios) to the new hard drive, then start renting games and copying them to the hard drive. God I am such a nerd.fireguzzi

I have my Xbox modded, with an 80g hard drive, so I don't buy games, I just rent them and save it to the hard drive.
Thats cool, is there a site or something that tells you how to do that?
Or do you just throw any ole hard drive in there?
I've never cracked open my xbox so i have no idea whats goin on in there.
Oh, and JWF, sweet box, mine has just the drive and modchip, I didn't care much about all the flashy stuff, because I'm too poor, but power switch light does flash orange and red, but that's just a bios control.
