I've got a Kaiser Cheifs song playingin my head right now.

"I predict a riot, I predict a riot.
if there's anybody left in heerrrrrrreeeee
that doesn't want to be out theeeeerrrrrree
I predict a riot, I predict a riot."
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Damn.....

I feel sad that the Oilers lost, but that has to be one of the BEST hockey games I have seen in a while....

Anyone who sais the rule changes were no good, just has to look at these playoffs to see that they changed the game for the better.

Congrats to the Hurricanes, good game.

Next year, Go Leafs Go!

I agree 100%, ya know except for the leafs part

It was a damn good series. The oilers gave it their best, made some poor plays that could ahve resulted in goals but oh well.

I gotta give Cam Ward all the credit in the world though. That kid is amazing, and he made some damn impressive save throughout the playoff. He deserved to win the conn smythe.

As I had said in this earlier post. It was a battle of the goalies. Cam Ward, played an awesome game. Cudo's to him. He certainly deserved the Conn Smythe. I certainly don't take anything away from Carolina. They had a great season. Capped it off perfectly by winning the Cup. However, I was rooting for Edmonton.

If anything about the last two Stanley Cup finals. Tampa vs. Calgary in '04. Now Edmonton vs. Carolina. There is something to be said about small market teams. The old term of small market teams can't compete is history.

Once again, congratulations to Carolina and all their fans.

Been gone awhile...

So much for the jinx comment. They just wanted to win at home!

It sucks that all the parties were during working hours!! WTF! Nice watching clips from the parade on the evening news.

I suppose hockey fans will finally realize that Ol' NC has a hockey team now.

wow....

I hope you're joking, that would be terrible. disrespect at it's worst. I hope they fire whoever did it.

I sure am glad they respect the cup enough to be careful with it, oh wait they weren't.
