I sound like a broken record here but just remember, ALWAYS have a feel for where your horn is and don't be afraid to hit it multiple times if you see a driver who gives off those "I'm going to pull out now" vibes because guess what... they probably will.

And when you DO have a near miss with a driver, always "punish" them.
Blare your horn, scream, fly the finger, and rev your engine.
If you burn a potent enough memory into their mind, you might just create a safer driver for the rest of us.

And yes, I plan on riding again... when my mom isn't looking (she's sworn to move out if I ever ride again). My brother is planning on getting me a used GSXR600 so we can go riding together and so he can teach me how to ride on weekends while I'm not studying at UCLA.

I'm sure it'll feel a lot different from the 250, but more so I'm worried that I m ight become unconsciously afraid of bikes since my accident... :humm:
Not sure the GSXR is the best bike to rebuild your confidence on.

When you can cadge a lift with your brother in law, being pillion isnt the same but it will help.

Take it real easy and you'll be back on top of things in good time.
