last winter I was driving home in the cage and saw a turkey on the side of the road no big deal this is indiana. about ten feet away was another, but these didn't look wild. after about 5 miles of turkeys about every 10 to 20 feet I see a turkey truck pulled off the side of the road and the guy was checking the back of the truck. How ana do you have to be to drop turkeys for 5 miles and not know it?

I'd say... not at all? 'cause if he was ana he would have checked his truck several times before it left and then checked it again each time he stopped and it wouldn't have happened.

I hit an Ohio ground hog with my V-Star a couple of weeks ago, the little bugger ran between the front and back wheel. I ran over him with the back wheel and nailed him dead bang. Being a humanitarian I went back to see if he was offical road kill or not. He was nowhere in sight. So if you are in Ohio, watch out for the little fur covered speed bump, no doubt he's pissed off at motor sickles right now. XS

I swerved around a good sized rabbit this morning (on a busy road downtown in the middle of rush hour....go figure..) only to have the guy in the car behind me squash it....ewwww...

i actually almost hit a huge vulture yesterday, coming out of a blind corner. I had to duck to miss it as it took off from the right shoulder.
I'm sure its all thanks to this thread...

Have you guys ever had a vulture swoop down at your head when riding?
Two weeks ago I was on 315 in Columbus and the vulture came so close I had to duck. My brother, riding behind me, thought it was trying to land on my helmet...

Yeah, they're like really big chickens. Too stupid to know they're dead.

and too stupid to stay out of the road, i almost squished one with the vtx on saturday. bugger came running out at me, i missed it, but the truck coming the other way sure as hell didn't. a second earlier or later and i'd have a mess to clean up.

Don't think she (assuming the girl in the picture is the rider) wears a cup
