Earlier today I was going about 45-50 in traffic, when I decided to change lanes to get better lane defense positions... In retrospect, my original position was better. As I'm finishing up turning off my turn signal, an idiot in the right lane in a lifted Silverado 2500 decided he wanted to be in the center lane where I was... We were going completely straight down a straight road and to avoid the idiot, I had to drop the bike over so far I was almost scraping pegs... Then I noticed the guy that was behind me was now beside me. My only choice was to gun the bike, shoot through a hole in front of everyone, get into the right lane, and get out of there... I ended up doing about 30 over the limit just to get away from that pack of cars!

If at all possible, it's better to stay in between car groupings.

Of course this is pretty hard if the traffic is bumper to bumper. :(

scariest must of been today. I was going about 65 MPH on a turn that didnt look so scary. but, at the edge of the road, 10 feet farther out, was a 150 foot cliff in to the sharp rocks. I mean this was one hell of a turn, probably started, and turned about 170 or so degrees. I started turning and half way through I got scared as hell because the gravely edge of the road was just 3 feet away from my tires. I panicked but I remembered to look through the turn and so I did and made it through. I really thought I was going to crash and fall off the cliff. I decreased my speed limit to 35 MPH which is the speed limit and i rode the rest at around 35 MPH.

target lockup on a gradual right hander on my first time out on the road, almost ate a f-150. in panic i dragged my right boot and let off the throttle which slowed me enough to turn. that or being dumb and riding with a stocking cap instead of a helmet and the folded up part became unfolded and covered my eyes at 60mph, had the presence of mind to stay calm and take the hat off, but that puckered my "O Ring" pretty good.
