Just one of many twisty roads around here, This one goes from near sea level to 3,356 ft in a very short time. This is a road to one of our three local ski hills , all within 1/2 hour of the city. The yellow line roughly follows the road up Mt Seymour... Lots of room to "Stretch your legs between turns.

Some of the curvy roads can still be challenging for me but I feel like I'm getting better with every ride.

I'm getting better at twisty roads, too, but one road I have ridden several times still presents a big challenge to me.
I haven't quite figred out why it cause me a problem.

what kind of turn is it?

off-camber? decreasing radius?

those 2 types are the harder ones.

and a corner could be even both off-camber and decreasing radius. plus you can add to that being blind and downhill, and it's one complicated turn right there.

It may be off camber but it also very steep downhill with a big drop at the side of it. I'm going to go ride it alone one day so that I can ride it a few times to figure it out.

Am I dreaming - or is this so??

You can lean through curves -

You can flatten curves -

I think I do both - but that Tennessee twister would be too much for me yet!!

My hubby complains I don't lean when I flaten. I can only flatten some of the wider ones. I do lean on the tight ones. I have ridden some pretty twisty mountain roads both up and downhill, and I have never touched the yellow line. Sight wise, I od pretty ok, I think I am still to scared to lean wayyy over.

I read a post about going out and scraping the footpegs to get that feeling. Gasp! I think I have, but barely, and only getting through a turn in an intersection befroe the light turns red... Who has scraped theirs??

I think the pic VeniceLady (SP) has ia the Aero 750 like mine...
