Not excuses, explanations.

Do I think I should have my jaw broken if I touch a Hell's Angel's bike? No.

Do I think I probaby would? Hell yeah.

Excuse? No. Those are just the facts, as inexcusable as you may find them.

And yeah, it could be a pretty big misrepresentation of the facts; it's not like it would be the first time a news person has done that. 63 is not that old. I know some 63 year old guys who could break the legs of pretty much everyone I know.

Hell, Paul Sr. from Orange County Choppers is almost 60. In a few years he could be mentioned in an article as an "elderly person" being assaulted. That dude scares me.

I got his autograph in person a few years back when he introduced that Statue of Liberty bike. Shook his hand after getting my jacket autographed. He hurt me really bad while I shook his hands. It felt like getting your hand stuck in a meat encased vise grip. Great guy too. He's only a hard "O Ring" because his sons drive him crazy.

You guys are missing the facts.

The reporter wasn't saying the victim was elderly... the reporter reported the FACT that the assailant was charged with "assault of an elderly person". That means that the victim met the statutory definition of "elderly person". Don't think 63 is elderly? Complain to the state legislature.

Connecticut has a special law dealing with assault of elderly, handicapped, pregnant, and otherwise defective people. If you assault a 65yo pregnant paraplegic they will charge you with "assault of an elderly person" ... if you attack Mr. Gompers they'll just charge you with assault.

Boy, that's rich...

I've been pregnant a couple of times and never considered myself defective...

Ok... otherwise less capable of dealing with day to day issues and therefore in need of more help and protection from the state.

Happier?

Yet another good reason to wear a full-face helmet

If someone spat in my gas tank I'd probably deck him too. And I'm the non-violent type.

You touch my bike and I'll lay into you with my cane by golly, just as soon as I can hobble off the seat. I don't care how young you are either.
