There's nothing wrong with it. But there are also other beginner bikes that'd be just as good or better.

For example, I looked at a GPX250RII, which is a JPN equivalent to a Ninja there in the States. But it wasn't my first choice! There were Honda sportbikes and standards, Yamaha sportbikes, Suzuki sportbikes and standards....

The point is, one bike is not perfect for every beginner. It is beneficial to have other choices. The Ninja wasn't perfect for me. But had I been in the States, I would have had to settle for it if I wanted the 250 noncruiser.

Anyhow, I'm not putting the Ninja down, just saying it isn't perfect for everyone just because it is the only one.

Kinda like pizza. Just about every loves pizza, but it'd be great to also have chinese food too

I think if we throw in products that cannot be purchased we'd all have different favorites... but we can't really do that. So we end up choosing amongst the available options instead.

And envying those who have more options.

I guess I have my cake and eat it too (which I'll miss when we leave). And don't worry, I am definitely thanking my lucky stars I do have the opportunity to have this variety.

ya ill probably just end up waitin til the 250 sportbikes become a little more popular or i guess you could say shown to the public (i haven't seen any commercials or heard anythin bout them but thats just me) to get one...idk the ninja 250 just isn't eye appealing to me as compared to a more sportbikey looking 250 from hyosung...
