I can't see why you would put a stock bike on a dyno anyway as it will only be disappointing compared to claimed factory hp.

Do some hefty engine mods and see the gains you have made. Therein lies the satisfaction from a dyno run.

Yet you called it pathetic and said you were very disappointed.
Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Well if trackdays are #1 on your list, than it could be awhile for those mods.

I guess it depends what factory you are talking about... I am not disappointed :)

Buell site:

Horsepower (North America per SAE J607) 103 HP
Torque (North America per SAE J607) 84 ft. lbs. @ 6000 RPM 113 NM @ 6000 RPM

My bike's stock dyno:

It is still down on claimed hp.
The best one can hope for is a confirmation of known power output and I just can't see the point.

p.s, are you planning on filling that hole at 3500rpm?

Dude, you should get this tattooed on your arm:

"My bike can still go from 0-60 in 3 seconds."

Truth is, your bike might be able to go that fast, but I'd bet my next paycheque that YOU can't get it to do that.

Quit worrying about the [edit: DO NOT hide profane language with turning on and off the bold/italics - it's still not acceptable language on this website] numbers and just learn to ride your bike.
