No one can be that stupid.
No, they can't. Most of the time when "poo poo" like this is done, it's done purely to create BS jobs to make politicians look good. "I created 3500 new jobs last year!" Yeah, 3500 minimum wage jobs that nobody but slightly-legal immigrants and former criminals hold for more than two months. :frusty:

Couldn't you have just showed him the receipt and avoided the whole thing?

It escalated really fast, unbelievably so, that I just wanted out, especially after the guy almost dumped me, I forgot I had it (like I said, I never take receipts) but I stopped to prove it in case police were involved, which to be honest I could have just been out....BUT the pumps need payment to turn on

from your description it sounds like the station attendent might have fallen into the semi-legal immigrant category. if all he could get out was "you steal gas".

sounds like they were trying to rip you off.

Soooo, right after I called the BBB and INS I'd file an assault claim with the local police.

At work (full serve gas station) i ALWAYS try to get to the bikers before any of the other ppl working. I set the pump, and hand them the nozzle. And at least when they want me to do it and walk off inside, i know what i'm doing. There's only one of the people i work with that i'd trust with bikes (he's 35, been riding like 15 years).

Where in LI bugg? I'll pay him a nice visit to see what kind of asshat he is because most LI cops are good for nothing when it comes to helping cyclists... just like NYPD. I can only guess that this may bring on more anger against cyclists in your area.

The AG and Schumer wants pics or other evidence on this. I have been advocating for change in views of cyclists.

East Northport? that's supposed to be a well to do neighborhood. These damn punks will hopefully end up tenderized.

How far north from Jericho TPK is it?
