you can hide it under your pants.jonnythan wrote: Some people like boots that don't look ridiculous when you're not on a bike
Actually, some people like pants and jackets like that too
and it's all black, who cares if there are toe sliders or just remove the toe sliders if you want.

it doesn't look dumb to me.jonnythan wrote:The boots look pretty dumb around town, VermVermilionX wrote:you can hide it under your pants.
i understand non-riders thinking it might be dumb... but if you're rider, you should understand why people wear such boots whenever they ride.

Oh of course, I know, I don't care. I prefer more "normal" looking boots that people won't look at and think look really weird though.VermilionX wrote:it doesn't look dumb to me.jonnythan wrote:The boots look pretty dumb around town, VermVermilionX wrote:you can hide it under your pants.

I bought a pair of HD boots, lace up with a zipper on the inside. I can't seem to find the model anywhere on the net, they are called Willy G's.
Seeing as I do all weather riding, the gortex aspect of the boots is what sold me on them...

Too bad they (Setup) don't make a more plain looking boot because they make good equipment. I almost bought a pair of gloves from them but the "glitz" factor cam up again. Even with pants over the boot, the bottom still looks like a specialty shoe.VermilionX wrote:just get this one...
Setup Vision boots - $129 at newenough.com
I have no problem with glitz factor equipment "Harlely or other" for other people but I'm a no glitz guy, unless I have no choice at the moment and must make a buy.
Unless Levi counts as glitz :- >
