Yeah my '73 RD200 was the exact color of the Blue TX500 you posted.

The second pic, isn't that a RD250? I did have a RD250 also. That was my second bike after the RD200 got stolen. It was a '75 in white with the red stripes.

You are EXACTLY right, HYPERR. That pic was labelled as an RD-200. But you can plainly see the 'badge' on the side of the cycle says 250!

I went back to the search engine just now and I found this pic, which corroborates your memory exactly!. THIS pic shows a badge which reads "200", and the color is just what you said, dark blue!

HYPERR, You asked if I still own any of these bikes. My answer is yes, I stlll own the Kawasaki's and the TX-500.

I do NOT still own the '50 FL Harley, sad to say.

Yes that it! Albeit a different stripe design and I didn't have a rack. Also the Blue in real life is a little darker than what it looks like on the pic

I bought it for $200...$1 per cc. My very first bike. It was only 200cc but being a two stroke, had decent peak power and pulled good wheelies The first day I had it, I wanted to see what it could do. I gave it a fistfull of throttle and dumped the clutch. It proceeded to do an almost a vertical wheelie and spit me right off. Amazingly nothing got damaged on the bike or on me and I just got back on it like nothing happened and rode away. The blissfull ignorance of a fearless & stupid youth.

Wow you still have the TX? Not many of those around anymore.

Yes I know you sold the '50 Pan in the late 60s.

Yes I do have more pics of my cycles. The third motorcycle that I ever owned was a 1967 Yamaha YL-100. It was the first (and last, LOL) two-stroke cycle I ever had. It is still in my fleet, but it does not run now. (long story why not). I still cling to hopes of someday restoring it. It is the classical 'ring-ding', smoking, narrow power-band Japanese 2-stroker. But so far, I haven't been able to cut my attachment to it and sell it.

You had quite a gap between the purchase of your '50 Pan and the '67 Ringading! I suppose that's what happens when you are raising a family?
