hehe...

some insurance companies only go by cc.

so insuring a less powerful bigger engine cruiser will cost more money than a more powerful 600cc RR bike.

I laughed harder at him buying that bike than crashing it.

Also, I said nothing about a squid forum. I merely pointed out the abundance of threads about sportsbike riders either crashing or being criticized for their style of riding.

Riding a fast bike does not seem to appeal to a lot of people around here and any discussion relating to such usualy ends up with the inevitable "squid" posts, and in certain instances threads being deleted.

Id post more cruiser crashes, but the sport bike ones allways seem more spectacular.... I like lots of flips and what not....

most cruiser crash videos get posted to show a dumb car. sportbike crash videos show the dumb rider.

my favorite part of the gixxer video is the kid trys to play it off like hes not the latter.

There are plenty of people on this forum who ride fast bikes. None of them are criticized at all unless they say (or do) something stupid. Just like anyone else on any other type of bike. If the "style of riding" is flagrantly illegal, should we condone this and respect it as "just the way one rides?"

OK, but why can't we at least have a good laugh when they toss it?

For the same reason I can't have a laugh when someone does something I deem ridiculous.
