Glad to hear you and the Goose are still with us! :jumpy:

Just goes to show how dangerous those cages can be! If you'd been on the bike, you probably would have stopped well short of the cable barrier.

glad you two are okay. So wait, the camry was behind you but had to go around because you stopped so fast? And what kind of merc is that? C series? Merc's have some impressive braking and safety equipment, just glad someone knows how to use them Paul :P

My damage was authorised to be fixed this morning, so now I can tell you.

I drove the car into the wires on purpose because there was no way I could have stopped in time. The Camry driver was fully locked up on the brakes and went straight past me and hit the truck head on doing about sixty. That would have been me if I had just relied on the brakes. On the K12S I am always looking for the escape, I just did the same in the Cage.

If I had been on the bike I would have 10 minutes further down the road and no where near the truck. I drive the Merc like an old fart. :laughing:

Thank you for all the kind words and thoughts it really does make me feel better. Thinking about your own mortality is a kak thing man.
