Too scared of needles. Anyone up for some rub-ons? I got a Tony the Tiger on my forearm, but it seems to be peeling.

When I listen(read) about why people have/want the tats they have/want, I get teary.
Yup - my tattoos all mean things to me because of where I was and who I was with, as well as why I originally got it in the first place. I doubt they would mean much to someone else, but for me they're memories I'll always have with me and love/remember.

I think that when I'm 80 I'll look fondly at them, even though they'll likely be on wrinkled skin and fading. Memories may fade but they don't go away!

That's pretty much what I ment to say...

I want something in honor of my Mom fighting breast cancer, but I haven't decided how to do it.

You should put it around your sphincter

I don't have any tats, but I also haven't done anything worth immortalizing with a tattoo.

I'm laughin' even harder because I know this guy IRL and can totally picture him saying that with his southern Ohio accent. You're too funny, crazy man!!

Ive currently got 5. Its kind of hard to explain some of them without pictures.

1. Center of my upper back. A tribal Dragon.
2. Ring of fire with the japanese kanji symbol for strength on my right shoulder. The flames are yellow, orange, and red. It is the only tattoo I have in a color other than black.
3. Its hard to describe this one, I guess its a tribal style design. Its on my left shoulder.
4. An angel holding a knife in one hand and a heart in the other on the inside of my left arm.
5. Two f-holes and some filagree like stuff surrounding tat #3 on my left shoulder.

Other than my first one I never planned out my tattoos way in advance. If I get a good idea I think about it for a few weeks to make sure its what I really want. Then I talk to an artist and get it done. They represent me at different times in my life. I will have no idea what I will want to get in the future until a month or 2 before I get it.

If anyone's seen Prison Break that tatoo / map all over that guys body is pretty awesome.

But for now I plan on getting a cross with barbed wire around it with XIII on the bottom.
