The Ranger is an 06 with a 4.0 V-6, and 5 speed auto, the hitch came on it, it's Class III i think, anyway it's the big one
Keith,
Nice trailer and I like the ramp door. The wife and I bought one for her business last winter but it is not quite as long and has the 2 hinged doors. My wife likes to go on the bike but only for short rides. She'll go with me on 2 or 3 day rides but anything longer than that and she wants to haul it. All I need to do to get it ready is get the wheel chalk for the front and some E-Track down the floor on each side for tie down. She wants the E-Track so she can use it to tie down her stuff when she hauls her goods. I also need to get a small ramp for loading.
When I go on my trips I will not haul it. If I want my wife to go and enjoy the trip, we're going to haul it. Another thing, she needs a lot of stuff to take with her so she can pack all that in the truck. Also, being in an enclosed trailer is nice for security at night when you are in the motel. Lock it up and forget it!!!

ooo, how's that feel/perform? Does it actually shift normal or does it like to shift at random times?
I had the 4.0liter V6 mated to a 5-speed auto in my '01 Explorer XLS. Shifted smooth as silk. Now that we've finally gotten past the antiquated 4-speed I'm beginning to take automatics more seriously. Had they offered a 5-speed auto in my Colorado I wouldn't have opted for a manual.
