My class was $400 (Canadian) for 2 days. And I thought it was TOTALLY worth it.

ya the course here is free i think... and its also mandatory if your under 18... which is me.

I think this calls for a little father/son quality time. Perhaps the two of you should take the MSF safety course together. Get your dad hooked, he buys a bike, and you have it made in the shade.

no hes too old... like 60... he wouldnt want one, nor ride one, nor really enjoy one. he used to race cars... do all that stuff... he says he done with it now.

i started ona Honda Scooter ( 50 CC) and it rocked.
Here in Chicago, though traffic is nuts, because our lanes arent that large, you rarely get a chance to get goingtoo fast...so my scooter worked out well ( Max. speed was 45). It got me comfortable in riding ourside of a cage......
Ended up buying my little scooter for $500....turned around and sold it for $1000.....
