Oh yeah... that bike will wheelie. The only problem comes when you go to set that 600+ pound bike back down!!! It makes an awful racket!!!

I've been a good boy, both cause it's cold as a witches out there and to scrape a years worth of rust off myself. No piont in wrecking the thing being an idiot.... plenty of time for that later.

I will say that the bike is performing nicely, much easier to manuaver at walking speeds than it should be, fairly agile anytime, and not as vibey as I was expecting. A 500cc 2 stroke makes most anything else feel smooth, I guess.....

I like how the bike is so quiet under 4000 RPM for putting through residential streets, but howls nicely when you open it up. 8)

I stepped out to pass a cage on a 2 lane hiway today and let it run a bit... it read 220 kph in a hurry with lots left before I remembered I was behaving......

Lots of dodads to mess with on this bike.... chain driven rear preload adjuster, uuummm yeah..... center stand is nice, so is the clock in the dash. And the little compartment in the fairing is cute, not sure what I'll ever use it for...... The fairing is nice to hide behind in this dam weather, but I miss not seeing the front wheel. Not a big adaptaion though.

So far, I am a happy camper.

If my failing memory serves, those things were good for over 140 in any year, so it should be satisfying. At least, 140 was always satisfying to me. If ya wanna go faster, buy a nitrous system. We know air cooled engines love them.

140 is plenty fast enough to end up in jail with no bike here..... so it's fast enough for me.

I got a special storage/carrier for that already....... And it's not bike enough for a pack of smokes.... or my rolling tray.
