Not as good as the first but still a good read. I believe it actually takes place between the second and third parts of the original story.

Those titles make me want to dig out my old latin schoolbooks.
Always hated all the iterations of et. too dang many wayts to say the.

Well hell Doc, this is another of my favourite books, and another one that I didn't know had a sequel. You're stacking my reading lists y'know. Keep em comin'.

Hmm... I volunteer at a local library on the weekends so I get my book fix there. Right now I'm reading:
Neuromancer by William Gibson
New York Dead by Stewart Woods
Ringworld by Larry Niven
A book I would suggest to anyone who likes witty novels: On a Pale Horse, by Piers Anthony.
When I have the time I read four to five books a week, but right now I have exams.

The Ringworld series. What a great bunch of books.
Some of my recent favs:
The Cat That Walks Through Walls - Heinlien
The Day of the Triffids - can't remember the author
Various Star Wars and Star Trek books.

Niven is another of my favs, and the Ringworld series tops that list along with some of his other works...

ohhh, just noticed another laurell hamilton book came out the 12th. gonna have to go read that one. they're so......odd., hrmm and yet another in june 07.
Harry turtledove writes some good stuff. Case of the toxic spell dump comes to mind.
And i read the two eragon books this weekend after being pestered by the movie ads till i was going crazy. were decent fantasy yarns. struck me as kind of a go read a bunch of other books, and then use the same dragon template, add in a couple of villans and go to town though.
Heroes die by matthew stover is awesome.

Yep turtledove comes up with some very.....unique.....stories.
Oh, and for folks that havent thought of it yet..... A PDA is an awesome way to easily carry around a cubic assload of books. I still prefer a nice warm book with actual pages of course. but once you get used to clicking a button for each page change..... its entirely tolerable. And a great way to lug around 40 or 50 novels in one pocket
Don't need ambient light to read the books either. Lovely in a tent.
Sony and a couple of others make dedicated e-book readers too.
