Don't worry, it becomes second nature after a day or two.

Well I made it through the first week. The class room stuff was pretty easy. We just went through the handbook and talked about some stuff, but the Riding portion was awesome. I had so much fun! I think I did fairly well for never being on a bike. The only issue I really have is clutch control, any tips? This week is testing week though. So we will see how things play out.

Don't stall it every 5 minutes like I did. It's embarassing.

steady throttle - ease the clutch out... when you're starting, use the clutch to control your power, not the throttle...

Well I didn't stall it actually. I was just having trouble controlling my start from a stop. I kept making it jump, I do the three count letting the throttle out, but I am not sure how much throttle to give it so it doesn't stall.

Each bike is different. You'll get the hang of it. It's just a matter of listening to the engine and feeling the bike out.

Well, I passed the written portion of the MSF. The part I worried over needlessly, it was really easy. But the

Really helped a ton. Thanks everyone for the support. Now on to the riding test!

If 3 seconds stalls the bike, try 5 seconds. Seconds sometimes get pretty short when you're stressing about doing things right.

Thanks, yeah I finally got that down. Just feeling it more helps. Well, I passed the MSF riding portion, I actually did pretty well, I ended up getting a perfect score. Having never been on a bike before, the course was awesome. I learned a ton and now know how to practice once I get my bike!
